In Shibganj upazila of Chapainawabganj, seven people were killed when a paddy field overturned. Five people were injured.
The accident took place on a regional road in Barikbazar area of the upazila around 6am on Thursday.
Shibganj Police Officer-in-Charge (OC) Farid Hossain confirmed the information.

Police could not immediately reveal the names of the victims.
The bodies were recovered, police said.
Besides, the injured were rescued and sent to Chapainawabganj Sadar Hospital.
OC Farid Hossain said the men were returning home after loading paddy from the Barind area. They were sitting on the paddy in the vat. On the way, the driver lost control in Barikbazar area of Shibganj upazila. The vehicle overturned and fell into a ditch on the side of the road, causing casualties.
